    An update from Ms Bush


    • Whole School Attendance - 95%
    • Class Attendance – Year R - 97.9 %


    It has been another wonderfully busy week at Valley this week.


    It has been a fantastic to see parents and carers sharing their children’s learning in the classroom during parents' evening consultations; talking with teachers and looking at their books.


    I wish you a lovely long-weekend.


    Ms Bush

    • Goldsworthy Class – Hazel-Grace for a showing great effort and determination at our multi-skills sport event this week.
    • Sharman Class – Vienna for trying really hard in all her lessons with a positive attitude.
    • King Class – Abd for trying really hard with improving his handwriting this week.
    • Hamilton Class - Kieran for determination, self-belief and a positive attitude.
    • Hadid Class – Oscar F for working independently and showing curiosity in lessons.
    • Benjamin Class – Enzo for showing a good attitude and excellent skills in both PE and art this week
    • Bloom Class – Faith for developing her writing skills in English, her reasoning skills in Maths and being a great role model to others in every lesson.
    • Starship – Esmee for zooming ahead in all areas of her learning. Keep up the great effort!


    Congratulations to you all – we are proud of your bee-tastic achievements!


    Year R, 1 and 2 had great fun at Easton College participating in a multi-sports event.


    Year 4 had fun getting messy experimenting with primary and tertiary colours.


    Year 6 are writing a narrative based on the Guardian Advert about the Three Pigs. There are some great plot twists!

    If your child is absent and we have not been informed of the reason, we will contact parents/carers to try and find out why. If we are unable to make contact, we will then contact your emergency contacts which we have been given permission to use.


    Please note that if we are not given a reason as to why your child is absent, this is record as an unauthorised absence on their record.


    Parents' Evening Summer Term


    Thank you to all the parents and carers that attended parents' evening this week. It was a great opportunity to share your child’s achievements in the classroom.


    If you have been unable to meet with your child’s teacher this week and still wish for an appointment, please contact the school office.

    Caring for your children updates


    Medication in School

    Please can we remind parents and carers that if their child requires to take a medication during school hours then this needs to be brought to the school office.


    Diarrhoea and Vomiting

    Please be reminded that if you child has an episode of diarrhoea / vomiting they need to be at least 48 hours clear from the last episode.
